5 Simple Ways To Score That Second Date

- Ask questions – You need to show you are interested in the person, not just their body.

- Be nice to others – Show your date how well you treat other people

- Pick up the check – Be sure to plan a date that you can afford (I have a general rule of limiting the first date to $50)

- Go in for a kiss – Now this one is a bit tricky.  You cannot be buddy-buddy all night and just go for a kiss.  You need to make your date comfortable with physical affection by building anticipation and attraction.  Give your date a hug, grab their hand, or put your hand on their back when you talk.  As a general rule touch but don’t linger.  You don’t want a touch to last so long that your date pulls away.  Building physical contact makes your date feel more comfortable so the kiss is the next natural progression.  Without comfort going in for a kiss is awkward.

- Follow the 2-day rule after the date - I tend not to follow rules like this but I definitely see the necessity.  Calling the next morning makes you look desperate but waiting several days is even worse.
