Set Realistic Dating Goals

See yourself honestly in the mirror, and improve upon your weaknesses.  Let’s face it.  We all want the perfect partner, but it’s important to set realistic goals of whom we date based on a true assessment of ourselves.  If you’re  a 5, you need to realize your dating partner will likely be a 5.  Improve by working on your health, wealth, and relationships everyday.

Forget the checklist.  Many of us are single because of the mental CHECKLIST we bring with us when approaching the first date. Someone has to measure up our standards, which many times are not important or unattainable. As a result, most of us remain single no matter how many times we go out on dates.

Focus on what matters.  Most lists include traits such as a look, wealth, hair color, height, skin tone, and other traits that are highly valued when in reality those will not ensure a long lasting, healthy relationship.  Instead of those traits, focus on their personality, desire to want a relationship/family, trustworthiness, character, empathy, and other qualities that really matter for a successful long-term relationship.
